HKG Wins 6 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals at the 2026 World Abilitysport Youth Games

The 2026 World Abilitysport Youth Games successfully concluded on 21 June 2026. At the end of the Games, Hong Kong, China achieved an impressive result of six silver medals and two bronze medals, bringing further glory to Hong Kong, China Para sports.

 

Five silver and two bronze medals came from Para Dance Sport. The pair Yu Chun Yin Matthew and CHOI Tsz Yan, together with WONG Kin Hung and LI Ka Yun, won the silver and bronze medals respectively in the Freestyle Combi Class 2. Meanwhile, WONG Wo Chau and LUI Yee Ting captured a bronze medal in Freestyle Combi Class 1  and a silver medal in Combi Latin Class 1. Another pair, SO Tze Yan Susanna and LEE PUI Yin, secured a silver medal in Combi Standard Class 2. In the Single events, WONG Wo Chau and Yu Chun Yin Matthew each earned a silver medal in the Men’s Single Class 1 and Men’s Single Class 2 respectively.

 

In Para Badminton, after intense competition in the Men’s Singles SU5, LAW Ka Fung of the Hong Kong, China team captured a silver medal.
