Introduction

Conference Objectives:

  1. To present the latest advancements and exemplary practices in classification introduced by the International Paralympic Committee, with particular emphasis on their practical ramifications for athletes, coaches, classifiers, educators, and sports administrators.
  2. To strengthen the interface between the principles of classification and their practical application by addressing operational challenges and advocating evidence-informed approaches.
  3. To enhance professional expertise and promote greater coherence in classification practice through impairment-specific workshops, experiential engagement, and the exchange of knowledge.
  4. To examine prospective directions for Paralympic classification in Asia, aligning regional progress with international benchmarks and fostering the sustainable development of Para sport in Hong Kong and the wider region.

Registration Quota:

Registration is subject to quota and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until the quota is reached.

 

Certificate:

A Conference Participation Certificate will be issued to participants attending only the Conference Session. Participants attending both the Conference and Workshop Sessions will receive two certificates:

  1. Conference Participation Certificate
  2. Workshop Participation Certificate

 

The China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee reserves the right to exercise discretionary power regarding all matters related to registration for the event.


Accommodation:

Special rates have been secured at the Regal Hong Kong Hotel. Participants are advised to make their own reservations as needed. The discount period and room availability are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Early booking is recommended.
