Para Lawn Bowls
Para Lawn Bowls became a competition event in the 2nd Far East and South Pacific Games for the Disabled. Therefore, the Incheon 2014 Asian Para Games re-engaged lawn bowlers as Major Para Multi-games in Asia.Para Lawn Bowls is governed by the International Bowls for the Disabled.
Para Lawn Bowls is played on a specific qualified grass field, surrounded by ravines and embankments as boundaries. The side of the field is a square or rectangle of 34 meters to 40 meters. The field is subdivided into 6 to 7 tracks. The width of the track is approximately 5.5 to 5.8 meters.
Para Lawn Bowls is suitable for visually impaired and physically disabled athletes. The competition is divided into male and female individual groups, mixed individual groups and mixed double groups, and the competition is based on different levels of disabilities.
