On behalf of the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee, Mrs. Jenny Fung BBS, JP, President of the Committee and Ms. Elaine Wu, Executive Director, participated in the Extraordinary General Assembly of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) in Germany from 16 to 18 November. During the meeting, the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee was officially admitted as a sole national member (NPC) representing Hong Kong, China with full IPC membership, and entitled to voting rights with immediate effect.
In future, the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee will continue to shoulder up the role of a national member (NPC) for taking charge of all matters under the IPC mandate. With an ultimate vision of building an inclusive world with splendour in Para sports, the Committee devotes to taking forward Hong Kong’s Paralympic Movement and assisting Para athletes in international multi-sports games to bring honour to the city.
