Congratulations to our President, Mrs. Jenny Fung Ma Kit Han, BBS JP, who has been officially appointed as Vice-Chairman (ex officio) of the Sports Commission established by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). The move shows the Government’s recognition on both Hong Kong Paralympic Committee and Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China for their contribution in the development of Para sports and abled sports respectively.
The Sports Commission advises the Government on the policies, strategies and implementation framework for sports development in Hong Kong and the provision of funding and resources in support of sports development in Hong Kong, taking into account the input from various stakeholders in sport through partnership and collaboration. With great power comes great responsibility, Mrs. Fung will continue working with all parties in striving ahead and making more milestones on the Paralympic journey, achieving Hong Kong Paralympic Committee’s vision and mission – to build an inclusive world with splendour in Para sports!
