2025 World Abilitysport Games
Introduction
Following a successful inaugural World Abilitysport Games held in Thailand in 2023, Indonesia will host the second edition of the Games in the city of Jakarta from the 11 – 21 September.
State of the art sport facilities will be used for Jakarta 2025. The majority of the venues, as well as the impressive Athlete’s Village, are the same used for the 2018 Asian Para Games.
About the World Abilitysport Games
Designed to give aspiring Paralympians and emerging athletes their first taste of international competition, the Games have helped produce many of the world’s big name stars.
These include Paris 2024 stars, Thailand’s five-time Paralympic wheelchair fencer champion Saysunee Jana, Iraq’s Paralympic table tennis champion Najiah Al-Dayyeni and South Africa’s multiple Paralympic medal-winning athlete Mpumelelo Mhlongo.
